Speaker Profile: Sarah (Sally) Broughton

Ms. Sarah Broughton, known to most people as Sally, has been working in Skopje since January 1998 mostly on projects related to media development or utilizing media as a confidence building or conflict resolution tool.

Born in Edinburgh in the UK in 1973 she moved to the US at a young age and finished her education in Washington DC. She has a Masters in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from the School of International Service at American University and has contributed to books and published articles related to the situation in Macedonia and the country’s media environment.

She is currently Head of the Media Development and Acting Spokesperson for the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje.
